Soda Pop War!

An original Anime print drawn in pencil on paper by me.  I scanned the drawing into my PC, colored the original base in Corel Painter IX, added effects in Photoshop CS5, and added text imported over to PS from Adobe Illustrator CS5. 

I wanted to draw a bad a$$ chick packing some major 'heat,' but didn't want to insinuate an all-out war thing or denote a zone, area, or faction that exists.  Instead of giving her camo green and tan clothing like most military garb, I fitted her with bright reds, and colored the backdrop in a pinky-color, not for femininity (because pink does NOT have to mean girlie, yo!) but because I wanted that Pink with Red and Black and Skulls theme that I decorate my bedroom in. 
Overall, I created a new work of art to hang in my bedroom that matches my design of goth/retro scheme!  (Does that still exist, or is it just called EMO now?)  Whatev---  IDK!

Anyway, she is available for purchase here on DA as a print, and I'm thinking up getting poster prints to sell on the side for people who I work with that have requested her as well.

The original file was HUGE - weighing in at 1.89 GB, and it contained 108 layers with four subfolders in the end.  Yeah!  Simplicity my ass, right?!  I spent over 20 hours on her creation and the file in whole.  She's giving us the peace sign upside down with her left hand (on our right) - because, you know, war is not peaceful.
I'd love to make a manga out of this poster, based on failed government politics (a hot-topic in my country right now) and the other 89% of the people who try to live and exist in a government that caters to only the very wealthy or the homeless poor - but leaves the middle class to rot, like most democratic countries that cater to the two extremes, but never to the median populous who are seemingly caught in the middle of the crossfire year-after-year.
